1) White Bunny (given by her Uncle Ben & Auntie Eleanor) - she loves to stroke her bunny till she falls asleep.
2) Pacifiers - as its name suggests, it truly pacifies :)
3) Telephone rattle toy - no idea what's so lovely about this toy, but she likes it! And so do all other babies! You should see how the other babies try to clamour over this strange-looking polka dotted toy!

Our First Real Run
We went for our very first Real Run (organized by New Balance) today at Sentosa - Janelle included! Check out this picture of us before the run - she looks blur and lost amidst the multitude. Haha! But she had a fun time watching the crowds and people running, though she was really tired because she woke up at 6plus this morning!
Congrats to Royston for completing his first 10km run ever!

Janelle can crawl forward!
After about a week of crawling backwards, Janelle surprised us this morning with her crawling FORWARD! Finally! She has learnt to crawl at exactly 7 months old
The past week of crawling backwards was really quite amusing (to us) but frustrating (for her). I constantly found her legs and butt stuck underneath her wardrobe, TV console, sofa, etc, because she kept moving backwards instead of forward!
And each time we used a toy to "lure" her to come forward, she would lurch excitedly in an attempt to move nearer, but inevitably moving further and further away from the toy! Well, all i can say that her desire to reach the goal was there, but the technique was wrong - which so often happens in our lives as well, isn't it?
Blogging craze?
Recently, Royston came up with a blog for his students to read, and i also started to do up this blog for Janelle after several requests for her photos to be shared. Besides this, about 30% of my friends have their own blogs! That's actually quite a lot of people who are into blogging!
As i was doing up this blog, i was reminded of this verse:
"Your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be."
(Psalm 139:16)
Isn't it amazing that even before i can record what's happening in Janelle's life, God already knows what is going to happen and has them all recorded in His book? Such is the nature of our All-Knowing God!
Janelle is turning 7 months old!
Tomorrow (19 August) Janelle will be exactly 7 months old! She has learnt lots of really funny expressions - the newest being the "scrunched-up" face look.
We are baffled as to where and how she learnt this expression because none of us (nor any of our friends or family) even know how to do such an expression! Really wonder where she learnt it from! Check out the video of her doing the scrunched-up look!
She has also learnt to wave "bye-bye" and has charmed everyone (friend or stranger) with her bye-byes. She even took the intiative to wave goodbye to ALL the people at the tables of the coffeeshop as we took our leave! *faint*

Finally! First entry :)
Please congratulate me!! I'm a computer idiot when it comes to blogging and uploading photos and stuff like that. So i've finally "clocked" in my first blog entry on Multiply after my site was lying dormant for quite some time! 
And being the computer idiots that we (Royston & myself) are, we actually have two separate Multiply accounts when our one purpose is to upload Janelle's photos. Sigh. What to do...she has got parents who are pretty blur about such stuff! Feel like a mountain tortoise coming down the mountain
