Janelle is 5 and Janine is 3!

Janelle turned 5 years old yesterday! I just can't believe how time has flown by! Whenever I meet people who tell me they are parents of a 5-year-old, in my mind I'd be thinking that they're quite old to have a 5-year-old kid, and to think that now it's actually my turn to be a parent of a 5-year-old!

We had a nice and simple celebration yesterday by taking Janelle out to shop for her birthday present (she bought 2 little dolls) followed by lunch at Pancakes on the Rocks (Westmead branch). Our dear friends came over at night to celebrate Janelle's birthday with her! I am thankful for such a beautiful girl who at times puts us to shame with her kindheartedness and generosity 

Janine has recently turned 3 and she is still ever so cheerful and bubbly. We enjoy her endless chatter and funny comments. I believe if she wants to look for a job in future, perhaps she should consider being a commentator! I am thankful that as the middle child, she has got such an bright and outgoing personality - to make sure she does not get neglected!
